The U.S. Census Bureau will hire hundreds of thousands temporary positions to assist in the 2020 Census. Census results determine Congressional representation and the allocation of taxpayer dollars towards infrastructure and public service. Positions include census takers, census field supervisors, recruiting assistants, clerks, and office operations supervisors.
Montgomery County Office of Community Partnerships invites residents to get involved in their 2020 Census Ambassadors Program. Ambassadors will be trained by the Office and the Census Bureau to provide information to the general public by hosting information sessions and disseminating promotional materials. Census results help determine more than $675 billion in funding. By volunteering, you can help ensure that Montgomery County gets its fair share.
