Community Meeting on Mental Health in the African Community

On Thursday, May 13, join the African Affairs Advisory Group for a conversation on Mental Health in the African American community, featuring Shauniqua Key, AAHP's social worker, along with Laurie-Anne Sayles, a councilmember for the City of Gaithersburg, and Stephanie Will, Mental Health Service Program Manager at Montgomery College. Conversation topics will include preventing bullying, mindfulness and stress relief.

About the African Affairs Advisory Group (AAAG): The AAAG serves as the liaison between the African communities and the Montgomery County government. The purpose of the African Affairs Advisory Group is to ensure that the County Executive is well-informed and able to act effectively to respond to the needs and concerns of African immigrants living and working in Montgomery County, Maryland.
