Join AAHP for Pink Couch Conversations at the Silver Spring Civic Building

AAHP warmly invites Black/African American Montgomery County residents who face or who have faced the reality of cancer to “A Pink Couch Conversation,” a series of open discussions hosted by Vicki Walton, AAHP’s cancer prevention specialist. These sessions aim to bring our community together to focus on cancer awareness and support. Participants are encouraged to sit on the iconic pink couch and open up about their experiences. These stories will be recorded and shared on the AAHP website to spark wider conversations about cancer and provide a platform for discussions on cancer resources, education, and personal experiences.

Pink Couch Conversations will take place at the Civic Center on several dates throughout May and June 2024, with both morning and evening sessions available. To register, click HERE or scan the QR code in the flyer to register.

Let’s come together on the pink couch to share, learn, and support one another in the fight against cancer. Whether you’re a cancer survivor, currently battling cancer, or supporting a loved one, your story can inspire and uplift others.
